KPW CEO Rip Morgan and "chief whip" Mr Rumble discussed the fact that the hated Inferno was now the KPW champ following his controversial win over the previously undefeated H-Flame. Mr Rumble cautioned that the number one contender Max Damage couldn't be counted out; and he noted that ex-champ H-Flame was down but not out: having been knocked off the top of the mountain, he was more than ready to make the climb to the summit once more!
The "King of Bling" Charlie Roberts brought his client KPW Champion Inferno to the ring. True to Rip Morgan's appraisal, the crowd were not at all pleased to see Inferno, but he couldn't have cared less. The KPW Champion climbed on the mike and demanded the respect of the fans. He demanded a quality opponent in order to prove he was a fighting champion, issuing an open challenge.
To the delight of the fans, the "Neon Knight" himself. Chris Delorean appered at ringside. Never mincing his words, he called Inferno a "whinging ginger" and accepted Inferno's open challenge. The KPW champion agreed and the match was all set for later in the programme!

In singles action, one half of the KPW Tag Team champions Kade Morgan - New Zealand's only third-generation wrestler - locked up with the new Maori Warrior, Whetu. The man who brings the mana was accompanied to ringside by his technical advisor, On The Mat veteran and previous "Maori Warrior", Mr Juno Huia. The crowd was firmly behind the high-flying young Maori Warrior. Whetu used his speed to take Morgan down for a quick two-count right away, showing he was the equal with Morgan in speed. "3G" showed complete disdain with a cheap shot instead of a clean break, but the Maori Warrior came back with kicks and a high leg lariat. Obviously feeling threatened by his opponent's obvious skill, Morgan evened the odds with an eye rake and followed up with a butterfly suplex. Hs overconfidence proved to be his undoing as he missed a standing moonsault and Whetu hit one of his own to show the crowd how it's done!
Morgan blocked a rana attempt with a powerbomb to regain the advantage, but Whetu fought back from a top rope predicament to hit a rana and then followed up with Utu (the swinging bulldog). Morgan looked all set to be put away by Whetu's top rope flying headbutt, when who should appear at ringside but Morgan's tag team partner, The Technician? Whetu was distracted for a moment, no doubt remembering the time in episode 3 when his friend Jade Diamond was attacked from outside by The Technician during the Powerhouse's match against Kade Morgan. Unfortunately, a moment was all it took for Morgan to unseat Whetu. This allowed Morgan to hit a top rope gourdbuster for the tainted winning pinfall.
Winner: Kade Morgan "3G" with a top rope gourdbuster for the win by pinfall.
After the match, the Renegades mercilessly beat down Whetu, to the disgust and horror of the capacity crowd. Jade Diamond exploded from the locker room to hit the ring to the cheers of the crowd and the horror of the Renegades. With Mr Huia providing support from ringside, the angry Diamond looked set to tear both KPW Tag Team Champions apart all by himself! It was only the intervention of Mr Rumble (backed up by referee Mark Freemantle) that kept things from boiling over into an all-put brawl! The Renegades left the ring pleased at having stolen a victory, but the "mighty team" of Whetu and Jade Diamond stood tall in the ring ready to beat the Renegades in a fair fight!

The crowd was firmly on the side of the challenger in this match, and Delorean was riding high off that momentum going in to this all-important match. Inferno sought to negate that momentum with his mat wrestling, but Delorean proved equal to the task f keeping up. Champion and challenger traded the advantage with arm-wringers until Inferno used his raw fury to batter his way free and beat down "Mister Love Potion Sixty-Nine". Inferno wisely kept Delorean grounded with brawling and power, but Delorean used the power of the fans to mount a valiant comeback against the champion. Inferno's experience showed through, however, and he stopped the challenger with a tilt-a-whirl slide slam. Delorean's woes continued when Inferno clamped the challenger in a vertical surfboard, cranking on Delorean's chin. The "Neon Knight" refused to submit and Inferno became all the more vicious, battering Delorean with power moves. Delorean mounted a comeback, reversing a top rope predicament into a tornado DDT for an extremely close fall. Tasting a championship victory in the offing, Delorean went for the Delorean Device, but Inferno fought back and hit the Extinguisher (lifting inverted DDT) for the three count.
Winner: Inferno with the Extinguisher for the win by pinfall to retain the KPW Championship.
For KPW's "Off The Ropes", this is Blair "the Flair" saying, "See you at ringside!"
